Welcome to MissFit
Where the nervous system becomes the starting point
MissFit was built on a simple but overlooked reality: your nervous system shapes everything.
Most approaches focus on discipline, mindset, or symptom management. MissFit starts where those models stop: the nervous system. Because when you understand the system regulating your stress responses, your physiology, and your emotional patterns, you stop guessing and start working with your body instead of against it.
MissFit blends Nervous System Literacy, Cellular Reiki Therapy, and real-life regulation into a refined, science-informed framework that bridges physiology and energy medicine without diluting either. It’s elevated, grounded, and built for women who know there is more to their healing than surface-level solutions.
This work moves deeper than motivation.
It recalibrates the system underneath it.
And it’s reshaping what modern women’s wellness can become.
Most wellness models attempt to change behavior without understanding the system directing it.
Women aren't struggling because they lack discipline, mindset, or commitment.
They are navigating lives that require constant output while their nervous systems remain in sustained activation. Over time, regulation becomes secondary to performance. The body adapts. Stress patterns solidify. Recovery shortens. Symptoms emerge.
Not because your body is failing.
But because it is adapting.
When regulation is absent, the nervous system prioritizes survival over restoration. Fatigue, inflammation, emotional volatility, stubborn weight patterns, chronic tension, and burnout are not random occurrences. They are physiological responses to sustained demand.
Yet the response is often to push harder. Optimize more. Control better.
MissFit is here to bring the focus back to the system underneath it all.
The Dirty Birdies
MissFit teaches that the nervous system doesn't operate in isolation. It's shaped by environment, rhythm, and relational safety. If you change the environment, you change the system. The Dirty Birdies are part of MissFit because they are the environment where this work is lived every day.
On our farm, nothing can be rushed. Animals respond immediately to dysregulation, inconsistency, and stress. They settle when the environment feels safe, and react when it doesn't. Their behavior mirrors the same nervous system principles I teach through Nervous System Literacy and support through Cellular Reiki Therapy.
Working with them reinforces something essential: regulation isn't a technique. It'vs a condition created through rhythm, presence, and attunement. The Dirty Birdies are the embodied extension of MissFit because they represent the lifestyle layer of it, where theory becomes practice and regulation becomes lived reality.
The Dirty Birdies are the heartbeat behind MissFit.

The Three Pillars
of MissFit
Cellular
Reiki
Therapy
Cellular Reiki Therapy is the applied arm of MissFit. It was developed to address what most wellness models overlook: the interaction between cellular energy production, nervous system activation, and stored stress patterns. CRT integrates frequency therapy, energy medicine, and nervous system regulation into a cohesive protocol designed to shift the body out of chronic activation and back into physiological stability. When that shift occurs, inflammation decreases, energy production improves, digestion stabilizes, and emotional reactivity softens because the system is no longer operating in survival mode.
This work complements modern medical care and supports your body’s ability to respond more effectively. It's designed for women who are carrying more stress than they may realize.
Nervous
System
Literacy
Nervous System Literacy is the educational foundation of MissFit. It was created to close the gap between what women are told to do and what their bodies are actually doing underneath the surface. Most approaches focus on behavior, mindset, or discipline, but very few explain how stress patterns are formed, how the nervous system encodes safety and threat, and how those patterns shape energy, digestion, hormones, mood, and long-term health.
NSL teaches you how to understand your own physiological responses in a structured, practical way. When you can interpret what your nervous system is doing instead of reacting to it, your relationship with your body shifts. Patterns become predictable. Symptoms make more sense. Regulation becomes intentional rather than forced. This framework gives context to everything else inside MissFit. It builds awareness first, so any change you make is informed, strategic, and sustainable.
The Dirty Birdies
The Dirty Birdies represent the lived side of MissFit. They are a reminder that regulation is shaped by environment, rhythm, and daily practice, not just sessions or theory. The small farm reflects how the work is embodied in real life and why the principles behind MissFit hold up beyond a treatment room.
About Kristen
I built MissFit because I needed a framework that didn’t exist.
After navigating trauma, recovery, and rebuilding my own health, I realized how fragmented most wellness conversations were. Physical health was separated from emotional health. Energy work was separated from physiology. Nervous system science was rarely integrated into real-life application.
That disconnect didn’t make sense to me.
So I studied it. I lived it. I refined it.
I hold a doctorate in Natural Medicine and created Cellular Reiki Therapy to bridge what I kept seeing separated. My work integrates nervous system science, physiology, and energy-based modalities in a way that is structured, grounded, and practical.
MissFit is the result of that integration. It's not theoretical or performative. It's built from lived experience, clinical education, and years of observing how women’s bodies respond under real stress.
This is the work I practice daily. And it’s the standard I teach from.

THIS IS THE NEXT ERA OF WELLNESS
Our bodies are one integrated system, so our health, healing and wellbeing works best when it is approached that way.
We live in high-demand environments managing careers, families, responsibilities, and constant input. So our bodies adapt to that pressure, and eventually the stress shows up physically through inflammation, hormone shifts, gut issues, and fatigue that no amount of discipline fixes.
The next evolution of wellness isn't about doing more. It is about understanding what is happening underneath it all.
When you work at the level of the nervous system, cellular energy, and regulation, the body responds differently. Not because it is being forced, but because it finally has the support it needs to stabilize.
That is the model MissFit was built on.
It reflects where women’s health is moving. Smarter. More integrated. More aligned with how the body actually works.
